12/25: Review of 2006 goals

Overall it is a complete failure... what a disaster!

1. Continue on my MBA courses, either through self-study or go to a formal school.
Did finish reading one course book from DU, but already forgot most of it... And it took me a year...

2. Finish my business plan in English and send it.
The only thing I did complete, finally... But I only sent it to three firms and never heard of anything back... Lots to talk about why it failed...

3. Continue on looking for a new job. I have to do something different this year, so either the current company gives me a new project that I can learn something from it or I will find a new job that can give me some challenge !!!
Never start looking for a new job, did get a new project but don't feel it is challenge enough. Still feel sucks...

4. Learn some new software knowledges. The candidates are: Linux Kernel 2.6, Writing Driver Code, IP programming, Web building.
Did learn some IP programming, HTTP, SSL..., but feel only learned a little about it.... Others? forget it...

5. Write at least one long English blog a week; hope to improve my English writing skill.
Apparently failed to do so...

6. Establish a website for my commercial photography and start advertising it online. Wish somebody will pay me to take photos in my spare time, so I can get some extra money for my dream Canon 5D and a L lens.
Did start it, but never finished.... Did get some extra money and bought a Canon 30D.... But it is not like I found the business, it is the business (a friend) found me...

7. Shoot at least 15 minutes video for Max every month, so I can have a total of 180 minutes video material at the end of the year. Wish I will do better than last year.
A failure as well, which makes me feel very bad and feel very sorry to Max.

8. Learn to cook at least 12 "lazy man dish", including the ones I create.
Well, did learn cooking probably 3-5 dishes.

9. Learn to sing at least 6 English pop songs.
Yet another complete failure...

10. Shoot more photos to improve my photography skill.
DId shoot a lot, but what is the worst is that I am not satisfied with any of them.... No good 2006 photos can be presented.


Feel like a complete loser now....
